Arrangement for conduct of election.

[1]        On 4 July 2016, the Association of Consulting Architects – Australia lodged in the

Fair Work Commission prescribed information in relation to an election for the following

offices in its New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory Branch, because insufficient

nominations were received in a previous election (E2016/93):

Branch Committee Members (7)

Branch President

Branch Vice President

Branch Secretary

Branch Treasurer

[2]        On 4 July 2016, the Association of Consulting Architects – Australia also lodged

prescribed information in relation to an election to fill a casual vacancy, for the remainder of

the term of office, in the following office in its Victoria/Tasmania Branch:

Branch Treasurer

[3]        A copy of the resignation submitted by the previous Victoria/Tasmania Branch

Treasurer was lodged on 1 August 2016.

[4]         I am satisfied that an election for the abovenamed offices is required to be held under

the rules of the organisation and, under subsection 189(3) of the Fair Work (Registered

Organisations) Act 2009, I am making arrangements for the conduct of the election by the

Australian Electoral Commission.
