Assisted Reproductive Treatment Amendment Regulations 2020

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Regulations 2019 to remove from the form for consent to carrying out a treatment procedure a statement by the counsellor regarding sighting of a criminal records check.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 124 and 125 of the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act 2008.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 8 July 2020.

4Schedule 1—Consent to carrying out a treatment procedure

In Schedule 1 to the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Regulations 2019[1] omit all words and expressions beginning "Part C—Statement by counsellor" and ending "Date:".
