1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Armidale Dumaresq Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Amendment No

9).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to the following land at New England Highway and Saumarez

Road, Armidale—

(a)

part of Lot 19, DP 817347,

(b)

Lot 24, DP 1001379,

(c)

Lot 2, DP 1196697,

(d)

part of Lot 2, DP 1198787,

(e)

part of Lot 1, DP 1252697,

(f)

part of Saumarez Road road reserve.

4      Maps

The maps adopted by Armidale Dumaresq Local Environmental Plan 2012 are amended or replaced, as the case requires, by the maps approved by the local plan-making authority on the making of this Plan.

Schedule 1 Additional permitted uses

Insert at the end of the Schedule, with appropriate clause numbering—

Use of certain land at Saumarez Road, Armidale

(1)

This clause applies to land at Saumarez Road, Armidale, being part of Lot 2, DP 1198787 and identified as “Item 5” on the Additional Permitted Uses Map.

(2)

Development for the purposes of information and education facilities is

permitted with development consent.

Use of certain land at New England Highway and Saumarez Road, Armidale

(1)

This clause applies to land at New England Highway and Saumarez Road,

Armidale, identified as “Item 6” on the Additional Permitted Uses Map.

(2)

Development for the purposes of hotel or motel accommodation is permitted

with development consent.
