1 Name
This is the Archives (Discretionary Service Charges) Determination 2014.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under section 69A of the Archives Act 1983.
4 Definitions
In this instrument:
Act means the Archives Act 1983.
5 Charges for discretionary services
For section 69A of the Act, the amount or rate of charge for a discretionary service provided to a Commonwealth institution mentioned in an item in the following table is the amount or rate of charge set out in that item.

| 1 | Storage charges for temporary and unevaluated records | $21.10 for each metre of shelf space for each year of storage |
| 2 | Record management training course—half day | $220.00 for each individual who is registered to attend the course |
| 3 | Record management training course—full day | $405.00 for each individual who is registered to attend the course |
| 4 | e‑Learning online modules—Commonwealth institution with 5 000 or more staff requiring access to modules | For each module—$1.75 multiplied by the number of staff requiring access to the module as notified to the Archives, capped at a maximum of $35 000.00 for each Commonwealth institution |
| 5 | e‑Learning online modules—Commonwealth institution with 101 to 4 999 staff requiring access to modules | For each module—$2.63 multiplied by the number of staff requiring access to the module as notified to the Archives |
| 6 | e‑Learning online modules—Commonwealth institution with less than 101 staff requiring access to modules | For each module—$5.25 multiplied by the number of staff requiring access to the module as notified to the Archives |
