Act No. 6, 1973.

A n Act to make provision for the substitution of the Permanent Head of the Ministry of Cultural Activities for the Director-General or Deputy Director-General of Education as a member of the Archives Authority of New South Wales; for this purpose to amend the Archives Act, 1960; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to , 27th March, 1973.] BE

Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in	BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1.      This Act may be cited as the "Archives (Amendment)

Act, 1973".

2. This Act shall commence on such day as may be appointed by the Governor in respect thereof and as may be notified by proclamation published in the Gazette.

3. The Archives Act, 1960, is amended by omitting section 4 (2) (g) and by inserting instead the following paragraph :—•

(g)	one shall be the person for the time being holding office as the Permanent Head of the Ministry of Cultural Activities.
