Architects (Amendment) Ordinance 1983

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Architects (Amendment) Ordinance

1983.'

Commencement

2.    This Ordinance shall come into operation on 1 October 1983.

Principal Ordinance

Ordinance 1959.2 3. In this Ordinance, "Principal Ordinance" means the Architects

4. Section 15 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub-section (3) "of $25" and substituting "determined by the Minister under section 39B for the purposes of this sub-section".

5. Section 18A of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting from sub-section (1) "of $20" and substituting "determined by the Minister under section 39B for the purposes of this sub-section".

Collection of fees

6. Section 27 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting "prescribed" and substituting "payable under this Ordinance.".

7. After section 39A of the Principal Ordinance the following section is

Architects (Amendment) No. 33,1983 133

Power of Minister to determine fees

"39B. The Minister may, by notice in writing published in the Gazette,

determine fees for the purposes of this Ordinance.".

Regulations

8. Section 40 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting paragraph

(a).
