AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Architects Ordinance 1959

J, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administra­ tion) Act 1910.

ARCHITECTS (AMENDMENT) ORDINANCE 1978

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Architects (Amendment)

Ordinance 1978.*

2.   Section 6 of the Architects Ordinance 1959 is amended—

(a)	by omitting " the Canberra Area Committee of " from sub­ section ( 3 ) ; and
(b)	by omitting " Committee referred to in the last preceding sub-section " from sub-section (4) and substituting " Royal Australian Institute of Architects ".

3 . Section 7 of the Architects Ordinance 1959 is amended by

adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:
" (3) The performance of the functions of the Board is not affected by reason only of there being a vacancy or vacancies in the membership of the Board.".
