An Act to grant and apply a sum out of the Con­solidated Revenue Fund for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one for the purposes of Additions, New Works, Buildings, &c., and to appropriate such sum.

[Assented to 9th August, 1930.]

Preamble.

BE it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—

Short title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Works and Buildings) Act 1930-31.

Issue and application of £130,570.

2. The Treasurer may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and apply towards making good the supply hereby granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one the sum of One hundred and thirty thousand five hundred and seventy pounds.

Appropriation.

3. The said sum granted by this Act is appropriated for the purposes and services set forth in the Schedule in relation to the financial year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one.

* Estimated cost of road within the territory of New South Wales is £200,000, of which the Commonwealth will contribute two-thirds and New South Wales one-third. In addition, the Commonwealth will defray cost of reconstruction within the Federal Capital Territory, estimated at £50,000. The provision for 1930-31 will complete the Commonwealth's contribution towards the estimated cost.
