TRANSPORT) ACT 1976

Act to appropriate Moneys out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the purpose
of Urban Public Transport.
BE
IT ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:—
Short title.
1.
This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Urban Public Transport) Act
1976.
Commencement.
2.
This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal
Assent.
Appropriation.
3.
For the purposes of the agreement referred to in section 3 of the States
Grants (Urban Public Transport) Act 1974, there may be paid out of the
Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly, the sum of
$20,000,000 in addition to the sums appropriated by that Act and the Appropriation
(Urban Public Transport) Act 1974.
