APPROPRIATION (URBAN PUBLIC
TRANSPORT) ACT 1974

An Act to appropriate Moneys out of the Consolidated
Revenue Fund for the purpose of Urban Public Transport.
BE IT ENACTED by the Queen, the Senate and
the House of Representatives of Australia, as follows:—
Short
title.
1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Urban Public Transport) Act 1974.
Commencement.
2. This Act shall
come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
Definition.
3.In this Act “the agreement” means the agreement referred to in section
3 of the States Grants (Urban Public Transport) Act
1974.
Appropriation.
4.For the purposes of the agreement, there may be paid out of the
Consolidated Revenue Fund, which is hereby appropriated accordingly, the sum of
$66,110,000 in addition to the sum appropriated by sub-section 4(2) of the States Grants (Urban Public Transport) Act 1974
