An Act to appropriate certain sums out of
the Consolidated Revenue Fund, additional to the sums appropriated by the Appropriation
(Parliamentary Departments) Act 1983‑84, for certain expenditure, in
relation to the Parliamentary Departments, in respect of the year ending on 30
June 1984

BE IT
ENACTED by the Queen, and the Senate and the House of Representatives of the
Commonwealth of Australia, as follows:
Short title
1. This
Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Act (No.
2) 1983‑84.
Commencement
2.This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives the Royal
Assent.
Issue and application of $1,747,000
3.The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund
and apply for the services specified in the Schedule, in respect of the year ending
on 30 June 1984, the sum of $1,747,000.

Appropriation
4.The sum authorized by this Act to be issued out of the Consolidated Revenue
Fund is appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from 1
July 1983, for the services specified in the Schedule in respect of the financial
year that commenced on that date.
Additional appropriation in respect of
increases in salaries
5. Section 5 of the Appropriation
(Parliamentary Departments) Act 1983‑84 has effect, on and from the
commencement of this Act, as if the reference in that section to Schedule 2 to
that Act included a reference to the Schedule to this Act.
