Queensland Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2010 Act No. 27 of 2010 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial years starting 1 July 2010 and 1 July 2011 [Assented to 18 August 2010]

Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2010 [s 1] The Parliament of Queensland enacts— 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2010 . Note — Under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 , section 5, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Accountability Act 2009 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act. 2 Appropriation for 2010–2011 (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $70 245 000 from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 2010. (2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1)— (a) is appropriated for the financial year for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service to be applied to its departmental services, administered items and equity adjustment as stated in the schedule; and (b) includes amounts for departmental services, administered items and equity adjustment delivered by the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service in the financial year starting 1 July 2009 but for which it has not been paid in that financial year. (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation(Parliament)Act2009 , section 3, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2010. Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2010 [s 3] 3 Supply for 2011–2012 The Treasurer is authorised to pay $35 100 000 from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 2011. 4 Repeals The following Acts are repealed— • Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2007, No. 32 • Appropriation(Parliament)(Supplementary2006–07)Act 2008, No. 20. 2010 Act No. 27 Page 5
