Queensland Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2003 Act No. 42 of 2003 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay amounts from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial years starting 1 July 2003 and 1 July 2004 [Assented to 27 August 2003]

s1 4 Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2003 The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s4 No. 42, 2003 1 Short title This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2003 . 1 2 Appropriation for 2003–2004 (1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $56 203 000 from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 2003. (2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1)— (a) is appropriated for the financial year for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for application to its departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items as stated in the schedule; and (b) includes amounts for departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items delivered by the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service in the financial year starting 1 July 2002 but for which it has not been paid in that financial year. (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation(Parliament)Act2002 , section 3, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2003. 3 Supply for 2004–2005 The Treasurer is authorised to pay $28 100 000 from the consolidated fund for the Legislative Assembly and parliamentary service for the financial year starting 1 July 2004. 4 Repeal The Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2000 (2000 Act No. 30) is repealed. 1 Under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , section 22, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act.
