Queensland Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2000 Act No. 30 of 2000 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay certain amounts from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial years starting 1 July 2000 and 1 July 2001 [Assented to 4 September 2000]

s1 4 Appropriation (Parliament) The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s3 No. 30, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2000 . ˙ Appropriation for 2000–2001 2.(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $49 952 000 from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial year starting 1 July 2000. 1 (2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1)— (a) is appropriated for the financial year for the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for application to their departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items as stated in the schedule; and (b) includes amounts for departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items delivered by the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service in the financial year starting 1 July 1999 but for which they have not been paid in that financial year. (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation(Parliament)Act1999 , section 4, to be paid for the financial year starting 1 July 2000. ˙ Supply for 2001–2002 3. The Treasurer is authorised to pay $29 225 000 from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial year starting 1 July 2001. 1 Under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , section 22, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act.

s4 5 s5 Appropriation (Parliament) No. 30, 2000 ˙ Annual Appropriation Act 4. For the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , this Act is an Annual Appropriation Act. ˙ Repeals 5. The following Acts are repealed— • Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1997 (1997 Act No. 36) • Appropriation (Parliament) Act (No. 2) 1997 (1997 Act No. 64).
