Queensland Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1999 Act No. 47 of 1999 An Act authorising the Treasurer to pay certain amounts from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial years starting 1 July 1998, 1 July 1999 and 1 July 2000 [Assented to 4 November 1999]

s1 4 Appropriation (Parliament) The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s2 No. 47, 1999 ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1999 . ˙ Appropriation for 1999–2000 2.(1) The Treasurer is authorised to pay $48 902 000 from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial year starting 1 July 1999. 1 (2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) is appropriated for the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for application to their departmental outputs, equity adjustment and administered items for the financial year as follows— Budget 1998–99 $ Actual 1998–99 $ Budget 1999–2000 $ Controlled Items Departmental Outputs 43 127 000 44 164 000 47 652 000 Equity Adjustment 750 000 750 000 1 250 000 Administered Items .. .. .. Vote Total Amount 43 877 000 44 914 000 48 902 000 (3) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation(Parliament)Act1998 , section 4, to be issued for the financial year starting 1 July 1999. 1 Under the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , section 22, words used in this Act that are defined in the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 have the same meaning the words have in that Act, subject to a contrary intention in this Act.

s3 5 s6 Appropriation (Parliament) No. 47, 1999 ˙ Supplementary appropriation for 1998–99 based on statement of unforeseen expenditure to be appropriated 3. The Treasurer was authorised to issue $1 052 000 from the consolidated fund, and apply the amount for supplementing services of the Parliament, for the financial year starting 1 July 1998. ˙ Supply for 2000–2001 4. The Treasurer is authorised to pay $25 674 000 from the consolidated fund for services of the Legislative Assembly and the Parliamentary Service for the financial year starting 1 July 2000. ˙ Annual Appropriation Act 5. For the Financial Administration and Audit Act 1977 , this Act is an Annual Appropriation Act. ˙ Repeals 6. The following Acts are repealed— • Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1996 (1996 Act No. 18) • Appropriation (Parliament) Act (No. 2) 1996 (1996 Act No. 35). © State of Queensland 1999
