Queensland Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1998 Act No. 34 of 1998 An Act to appropriate certain amounts from the consolidated fund for services of the Parliament in the financial years starting 1 July 1997, 1 July 1998 and 1 July 1999 [Assented to 27 October 1998]

s1 4 Appropriation (Parliament) The Parliament of Queensland enacts— s5 No. 34, 1998 ˙ Short title 1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1998 . ˙ Supply for 1998–99 2.(1) The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1998, the sum of $43 910 000. (2) The amount mentioned in subsection (1) includes the amount already authorised by the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1997 to be issued from the consolidated fund and applied for services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1998. ˙ Supplementary appropriation for 1997–98 based on statement of unforeseen expenditure to be appropriated 3. The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for supplementing services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1997, the sum of $1 053 000. ˙ Supply for 1999–2000 4. The Treasurer may issue from the consolidated fund, and apply for services of the Parliament in the financial year starting 1 July 1999, the sum of $21 955 000. ˙ Repeal 5. The Appropriation (Parliament) Act 1995 is repealed. © State of Queensland 1998
