AN ACT to confirm certain Expenditure for the year ending 30th June, One thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight.

[Assented to, 9th October, ig99.]

HEREAS it is necessary that Legislative authority be obtained

Preamble.

W1897-8, not included in any Appropriation Act for the year: Be itfor certain expenditure incurred for the services of the year

therefore enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legis- lative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

THE expenditure of the sum of Three hundred and ninety- nine thousand two hundred and four pounds fifteen shillings and

Excesses on Votes on

the Consolidated

eightpence, set forth in the Schedule A to this Act, shall be and the

same is hereby confirmed and allowed, and is hereby declared to be

the year 1897-8.
