APPROPRIATION (GENERAL LOAN AND CAPITAL WORKS FUND) ACT

No. 72 of 1988

AN ACT to appropriate and apply out of the General Loan and Capital Works Fund certain sums to make good the supplies granted for the service of the year ending 30 June 1989 and to supplement grants made by the present Parliament during the Second Session in adjustment of the Vote "Advance to Treasurer, 1987-88" for charges during the year ended 30 June 1988.

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short Title

1. This Act may be cited as the Appropriation (General Loan and

Capital Works Fund) Act 1988.

Commencement

2.     This Act shall come into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

Issue and application of moneys

There shall be issued and may be applied as supply granted to Her Majesty for the year from 1 July 1988 to 30 June 1989 the sum of $205 540 000 from the General Loan and Capital Works Fund, being additional to the supply granted by the Supply Act 1988.

Appropriations

(1) The sum of $405 540 000 granted by this Act and the Supply Act 1988 from the General Loan and Capital Works Fund as supply to Her Majesty is appropriated from the General Loan and Capital Works Fund for the purposes and services expressed in Schedule 1.

(2) The sum of $4 354 523.29 expended from the Vote "Advance to Treasurer, 1987-88" for charges during the year ended 30 June 1988 is deemed to have been appropriated from the General Loan and Capital Works Fund for the purposes and services expressed in Schedule 2.
