707 (1 n eellsf nt4 ANNO QUARTO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 47 of 1965 An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and Trust and Special Funds to the Service of the Years ending on the last days of June , 1966 and 1967, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June , 1965, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament [ASSENTED TO 1ST DECEMBER, 1965] Most Gracious Sovereign,- Preamble . WE. Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore
708 Appropriation Act No. 2 of '9b5, No. 47 enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Appropriation . [ Schedule , Parts A, B, C, D sad E .) In addition to the several sums specified in the Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-six the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Fifty-two million pounds and Seventy million pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-six, by " The Appropriation Act of 1964-1965, No. 2," and " The Appropriation Act of 1965-1966, No. 1," respectively, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of One hundred and eighteen million nine hundred and . eighty-three thousand one hundred and eighty- seven pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of One hundred and forty-six million six hundred and ninety-two thousand nine hundred and forty-four pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Thirty-eight million five hundred and thirty-eight thousand pounds. 2. Appropriation . There shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-sever., the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland ( exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Acc:ount), the sum of Twenty-three million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Twenty- six million pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Six million pounds. 3. Appropriation of sums voted for Supply services . [ Scbedale, Parts F, G and H.] The sums granted by the first section of this Act and by "The Appropriation Actof 1964-1965,No.2," and "The Appropriation Act of 1965-1966, No. I," and which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G and H of the Schedule to this Act. amounting as appears bN the said Parts in all to the sum of Three hundred and four million two hundred and fourteen thousand one hundred and thirty-one pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts F. G and H, respectively.
Appropriation Act No. 2 of 1965, No. 47 709 4. Supplementary appropriation , 1964 - 1965 . [ Schedule , Parts 1, J and K.] There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further sum of Four million one hundred and forty-nine thousand two hundred and eighty-five pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of Six million five hundred and sixty-six thousand one hundred and thirty- four pounds sixteen shillings and seven pence; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of One million nine hundred and fifty-nine thousand one hundred and ninety-two pounds four shillings and ten pence, to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked 1, J and K of the Schedule to this Act. 5. Treasurer to pay moneys as directed by warrat t- The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall, according to the warrant, be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the appropriate Trust or Special Fund. 6. Treasurer to be allowed credit for sous paid in parsruee of warrant. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, in writing as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the moneys are paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. Indemnity . [ Schedule , Parts I , J and K .] The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of Four million one hundred and forty-nine thousand two hundred and eighty-five pounds, Six million five hundred and sixty-six thousand one hundred and thirty-four pounds sixteen shillings and seven pence, and One million nine hundred and fifty-nine thousand one hundred and ninety-two pounds four shillings and ten pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in Parts marked I, J and K of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorised and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 8. Short title . This Act may be cited as "Tire Appropriation Act of 1965-1966, No. 2."
