390 Quetnolnub ANNO TERTIO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 45 of 1964 An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund and Trust and Special Funds to the Service of the Years ending on the last days of June , 1965 and 1966, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June , 1964, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament [ASSENTED TO 19TH NOVEMBER, 1964] Most Gracious Sovereign,- Preamblea WE, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore
Appropriation Act No. 2 of 1964, No. 45 391 enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Appropriation . [ Schedule, Parts A, B, C, D, and E.] In addition to the several sums specified in the Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Fifty-one million pounds and Sixty-eight million pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-five, by " The Appropriation Act of 1963-1964, No. 2," and "The Appropriation Act of1964-1965,No.1," respectively, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of One hundred and eleven million seven hundred and seventy-six thousand seven hundred and seventy-eight pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of One hundred and thirty-five million one hundred and ten thousand two hundred and forty-five pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Thirty-eight million three hundred and five thousand pounds. 2. Appropriation . There shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-six, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Twenty-two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Twenty-five million pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Five million pounds. 3. Appropriation of sums voted for Supply services . [ Schedule, Parts F, G, and H .] The sums granted by the first section of this Act and by "The Appropriation Act of1963-1964,No.2," and "The AppropriationActof 1964-1965,No.1," and which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G, and H of the Schedule to this Act, amounting as appears by the said Parts in all to the sum of Two hundred and eighty-five million one hundred and ninety-two thousand and twenty-three pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts, F, G, and H respectively.
392 Appropriation Act No. 2 of 1964, No. 45 4. Supplementary appropriation , 1963-1964 . [Schedule, Parts I, J, and K.] There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say; From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further sum of Five million seven hundred and twenty-one thousand seven hundred and sixteen pounds fifteen shillings; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of Three million two hundred and seventy-four thousand nine hundred and fifty-one pounds six shillings; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Two million three hundred and seventy-seven thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight pounds three shillings and one penny; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-four, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixty-three, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, J. and K of the Schedule to this Act. 5. Treasurer to pay moneys as directed by warrant . The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs. and the payments so made shall, according to the warrant, be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund or the appropriate Trust or Special Fund. 6. Treasurer to be allowed credit for sums paid in pursuance of warrant. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, in writing as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the moneys are paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned. and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. Indemnity . [ Schedule , Parts 1, J, and K.] The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of Five million seven hundred and twenty-one thousand seven hundred and sixteen pounds fifteen shillings, Three million two hundred and seventy-four thousand nine hundred and fifty-one pounds six shillings, and Two million three hundred and seventy-seven thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight pounds three shillings and one penny, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in Parts marked I, J, K of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorised and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any ;uch issue or application. 8. Short title . This Act may be cited as "The Appropriation Act of 1964-1965, No. 2,"
