Consolidated Revenue Fund to the Service of the Years ending on the last days of June, 1957 and 1958, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June, 1956, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament. W E, Your Majesty’s most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia­ ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— Appropria­ 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the t[iSocnh. edule, Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the PartsA, B, !, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under D, and E.] the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec­ tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Twenty-five million five hundred thousand pounds and Forty-one million pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, by *“ The Appropriation Act of 1955-1956, No. 2,” and The Appropriation Act of 1956-1957, No. 1,” respectively, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens­ land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of * 4 Eliz. 2 No. 29. t 5 Eliz. 2 No 1.

Appropriation Acts. 7 Seventy-two million three hundred and sixty-three thousand seven hundred and eighty-two pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Fifty-seven million nine hundred and forty-seven thousand four hundred and sixty-three pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Twenty-two million pounds ; 2. There shall and may be issued and applied Appropm- towards making goodthe supplies granted to Her Majesty fcl0n‘ for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight, the sums following, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens­ land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Fourteen million pounds ; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Nine million pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Three million five hundred thousand pounds. 3. The sums granted by the first section of this Act Appropna- and by *“ The Appropriation Act of 1955-1956, No. 2,” ftT* and The Appropriation Act of 1956-1957, No. 1,” and Supply which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G,8ervlces- and H of the Schedule to this Act, amounting as PartiTi^G, appears by the said Parts in all to the sum ofand H-l’ One hundred and fifty-two million three hundred and eleven thousand two hundred and forty-five pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-six, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts F, G, and H respectively. 4. No. 11, [Schedule, a^Ko J’ sum of One million six hundred and fifty- thousand five hundred and thirty-one pounds ten shillings and one penny : From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of One million five hundred and fifty-five thousand five hundred and fifty-six pounds five shillings and nine pence ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Four hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred and fifty-one pounds five shillings ; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-six, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked and K of the Schedule to this Act. Treasurer to 5. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several m ducted8 sums> f°r the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such by warrant, persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to credit° for** ^me allowed credit for any sum or sums of money sums paid in paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, warrant?8 °f an(^ fhe receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the moneys are paid shall be a valid discharge to the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any sum therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. indemnity. 7. The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of One million six hundred and fifty thousand five hundred and thirty-one pounds ten shillings and one penny, One million five hundred and fifty-five thousand five hundred and fifty-six pounds five shillings and nine pence, and Four hundred and ' fifty-seven thousand six hundred and fifty-one pounds five shillings, which has been made before the passing
