An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the T he A ppropriation Consolidated Revenue Fund to the Service of A ct op 1955-1956, NO. 2. the Tears ending on the last days of June, 1956 and 1957, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June, 1955, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament. TATE, Your Majesty’s most dutiful and loyal subjects, V > the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant Unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— Appropna- 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the [Schedule, Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the PartsA,B’,c, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under d , and e .] authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-six the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Twenty-three million five hundred thousand pounds and Thirty-nine million pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-six, by *“ The Appropriation Act of 1954-1955, No. 2,” and f“ The Appropriation Act of 1955-1956, No. 1,” respectively, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of * 3 Eliz. 2 No. 39. t 4 Eliz. 2 No* 22.

Sixty-five million seven hundred and eighty- nine thousand seven hundred and ninety-five pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Fifty-seven million one hundred and thirty- eight thousand three hundred and two pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Twenty-one million six hundred and fifty thousand pounds; 2. There shall and may he issued and applied Appropm. towards making good the supplies granted to Her MajestyfcIon' for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-seven, the sums following, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Thirteen million pounds ; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Nine million pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Three million five hundred thousand pounds. 3. The sums granted by the first section of this Act Appropria- and by *“ The Appropriation Act of 1954-1955, No. 2,” faT08 and The Appropriation Act of 1955-1956, No. 1,” and Supply which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G, s®rvl0®9- and H of the Schedule to this Act, amounting as parts f ,©, appears by the said Parts in all to the sum of aQd h .) No. 29, sum of Two million nine hundred and forty thousand two hundred and two pounds sixteen shilh'ngs and eleven pence : From the Trust and Special Funds, a farther sum of One million four hundred and sixty-nine thousand one hundred and fifty-eight pounds twelve shillings ; • From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Two million two hundred and forty-seven thousand six hundred and seven pounds nine shillings and eight pence ; [Schedule, Parts I, J, and K.] to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, and such sums shall he deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-four, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, J, and K of the Schedule to this Act. The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of Two million nine hundred and forty thousand two hundred and two pounds sixteen shillings and eleven pence, One million four hundred and sixty-nine thousand one hundred and fifty-eight pounds twelve shillings, and Two million two hundred and
