[A ssented to 23 rd A ugust , 1954.] \\ J HEREAS we, Your Majesty’s most dutiful and loyal Preamble. V t subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parhament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, in addition to the sums already granted during the last Session of Parliament towards the same services : And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid : Be it therefore enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:— 1. In addition to the sums of Twelve million Appropria- pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue ,on' Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the

No. 20,1954. credit of the Loan Fund Account), Eight million pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Three million fivehundred thousandpounds alreadyapplied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, by *“ The Appropriation Act of 1953-1954, No. 2,” there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Her Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-five, the sums following, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens­ land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Sixteen million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Twelve million pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Five million five hundred thousand pounds.
