CONSTITUTION. 15 G eo . VI. No. 52, 1951. Appropriation Acts. 119 An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund to the Service ofAw*o™L*ioN A ct the Years ending on the last days of June) 01K952, 1952 and 1953, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June, 1951, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament. [A ssented to 30 th N ovember , 1951.] M ost G racious S overeign ,— TTJE, Your Majesty’s most dutiful and loyal subjects, Preamble. V V the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :— 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ^ppropria" Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the [Schedule, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec- ’80 ‘ tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted tq His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-two, the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Fourteen million pounds and Twenty-five million pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-two, by * “ The Appropriation Act of 1950- 1951, No. 2,” and f “ The Appropriation Act of 1951- 1952, No. 1,” respectively, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the * 14 G. 6 No. 24. t 15 G.-6 No. 22.

No. 52, credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Forty-four million seven hundred and ninety-three thousand and eighty pounds ; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Thirty-two million three hundred and twenty-two thousand seven hundred and fifty-seven pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Twenty-three million three hundred and twenty-one thousand pounds; Appropria tion. 2. There shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-three, the sums following, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Nine million pounds ; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Six million pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Three million pounds. Supple mentary appropria tion, 1950 1951. 4. There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say,— From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further * 14 G. 5 No. 24. t 15 G. 6 No. 22.

Appropriation Acts. sum of Three million seven hundred and forty- three thousand and twenty-five pounds and one penny; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of One million seven hundred and fifty-eight thousand eight hundred and forty pounds four shillings and ten pence ; From the moneys standing to the credit ofthe Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Eight hundred and three thousand four hundred and eighty pounds nine shillings and four pence ; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and fifty, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, J, and K of the Schedule to this Act. [Schedule, Parts I, J and K.] 5. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several Treasurer to sums, for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such ^dkSted8 persons, upon such days, and in suph proportions as the by warrant. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money c^dit°ford paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, sums paid m and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to w^ant?6 of whorh the moneys are paid shall be a valid discharge to the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any sum therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. The issue or application of any part or parts indemnity, of the said sums of Three million seven hundred and forty-three thousand and twenty-five pounds and one penny, One million seven hundred and fifty-eight thousand eight hundred and forty pounds four shillings and ten pence, and Eight hundred and three thousand four hundred and eighty pounds nine shillings and four pence, which has been made before the passing of this
