An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the THE ApPROPRIA- TION Consolidated Revenue Fund to the Service of AOT OF 1949- 1950, No. 2. the Years ending on the last days of June, 1950 and 1951, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June, 1949, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament. [ASSENTED TO 30TH NOVEMBER, 1949.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- Preamble. lX1E, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects~ l' ,. the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- I ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted~ and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - AppropIia. 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ~ ~ ~ ~ 'edule Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the PartBA, i,e, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under D, and E.] the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec- tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty ~ the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Ten million two hundred thousand pounds and Fifteen million five hundred thousand pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty, by *" The Appropriation Act of 1948-1949, No. 2," and t" The Appropriation Act of 1949-1950, No. 1, ' ~ respectively, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of * 12 G. 6 No. 44. t 13 G. 6 No. 35.

Twenty-nine million eight hundred and forty- three thousand seven hundred and thirty-two pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Twenty-three million two hundred and thirty- nine thousand six hundred and three pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Eleven million nine hundred and fiftv-nine thousand pounds. . 2. There shall and may be issued and applied ~ ppropria. towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty tlOD. for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit ofthe Loan Fund Account), the sum of Five million five hundred thousand pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of ]'our million five hundred thousand pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of One million four hundred thousand pounds. 3. The sums granted by the first section of this Act ~ppropria. and by *" The Appropriation Act of 1948-1949, No. 2," ~ ~ ~ ~ ff~ ~ 8 and t" The Appropriation Act of 1949-1950, No. 1," and Supply which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G, ; : : s~ and H of the Schedule to this Act, amounting as Parts ;, d. appears by the said Parts in all to the sum of and H.] Sixty-five million and forty-two thousand three hundred and thirty-five pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, for the purposes and services expressed in the eaid Parts F, G, and H respectively. 4.
