" l' the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- mcntassembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. Appropriation Acts. sum of Eight hundred and eighty-two thousand and seven pounds ten shillings and two pence; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of Two hundred and twenty thousand one hundred and thirty-three pounds eight shillings and three pence; From the moneys standing to the credit ofthe Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Twenty- seven thousand eight hundred and ninety-one pounds eight shillings and three pence; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-five, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and forty-four, for ::n: the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked [' h d 1 I, J, and K of the Schedule to this Act. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money be ~owed paid by him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, ~ = t: ~ [d and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to pursuance whom the moneys are paid shall be a valid discharge to warrant. the Treasurer in passing his accounts for any sum therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. The issue or application of any part or parts1ndemn of the said sums of Eight hundred and eighty-two thousand and seven pounds ten shillings and two pence, Two hundred and twenty thousand one hundred and thirty-three pounds eight shillings and three pence, and Twenty-seven thousand eight hundred and ninety-one pounds eight shillings and three pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for

This Act may be cited as "The Official8 in Parliament Acts Amendment Act of 1945.". Construction of Act. 2. (1.) This Act shall be read as one with- (i.)
