An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the ApPRO T P H R E IATION Consolidated Revenue Fund to the Service of ACT OF 1943-1944, No,2, the Years ending on the last days of June, 1944 and 1945, and certain Further Sums to the Service of the Year ended on the last day of June, 1943, and to Appropriate the Supplies granted in the last and present Sessions of Parliament. [ASSENTED TO 4TII NOVEMBER, 1943.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN, - Preamble. l~IE, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, Vl the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows ;- Appropria. 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ~ ~ ~ ~ edUle Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, and E of the PartsA,B,C, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under D, and E.] the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec- tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty- four, the sums following, inclusive of the two sums of Six million pounds, and Thirteen million four hundred thousand ,pounds, already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-four, by *" The Appropriation Act of 1942-1943, No. 2," and t" The Appropriation Act of 1943-1944, No. 1," respectively, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of * 6 G. 6 No. 34. Twenty-one million eight hundred and sixty-nine thousand six hundred and fifty-six pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Eighteen million five hundred and eighty- three thousand seven hundred and seventy- three pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of One million seven hundred and nineteen thousand pounds. 2. From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of Seven million one hundred and sixty thousand eight hundred and forty-four pounds three shillings and eleven pence; From the moneys standing to the credit ofthe Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Seven thousand seven hundred and seventy-nine pounds eleven shillings and nine pence; [Schedule, Parts I, J, and K.] to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-three, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and forty-two, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, J, and K of the Schedule to this Act.
