Further Sums of Money towards the Service of the Year ending on the Thirtieth day of June, 1944. [ASSENTED TO 30TH JULY, 1943.J Preamble. V\ THEREAS we, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-four, in addition to the sums already granted during the last Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- Appropria. tion. 1. In addition to the sums of Two million five hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), Three million pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Five hundred thousand pounds already applied

Appropriation Acts. :n from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-four, by *" The Appropriation Act oJ 1942-1943, No. 2," there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-four, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Five million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Eight million pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Four hundred thousand pounds. 2. The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the Treasurer to stoaidsuscehveprearlssounms,sufpoor nthseupcuhrdpoasyess, haenrdeiI·nnbseufocrhe pmroepnotirotIn.Oends, pabaySYdlw. rmaeorncrteeadnYtS. as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State. 3.
