If the Legislative Assembly, within the next fourteen sitting days after any regulations have been so laid before such House, resolves that such regulations or any of them ought to be annulled, the same shaH after the date of such resolution be of no effect, without prejudice to the validity of anything done in the meantime under such regulations or to the making of any new regulations. No. 1, 1940. addition to the sums already granted during the last Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - Appropria- 1. In addition to the sums of Two million five tion. hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), One million five hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Six hundred thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-one, by *" The Appropriation Act of 1939-1940, No. 2," there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and forty-one, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Four million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Two million five hundred thousand pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Eight hundred thousand pounds.
