[ASSENTED TO 15TH OCTOBER, '1937.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- lIlTE, Your Ma.jesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, Preamble. l'l' the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis-. lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. No. 13, credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Eleven million one hundred and ninety-five thousand two hundred and fifty-one pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Eight million five hundred and thirty-two thousand two hundred and seventeen pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Three million three hundred and sixty-nine thousand pounds. Appropria- tion. 2. There shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-nine, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan_Fund Account), the sum of One million eight hundred thousand pounds ; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of One million three hundred thousand pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Six hundred thousand pounds. Appropria- 3. The sums granted by the first section of this Act ~ ~ ~ ~\ ~ ~rns and by *" The Appropriation Act of 1936-1937, No. 3," Supp~ y and t" The Appropriation Act of 1937-1938, No. 1," and services. which are set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G, [Schedule, and H of the Schedule to this. Act, amounting, as ! , : ~ ~ ~ j G, appears by the said Parts, in all to the sum of Twenty- three million ninety-six thousand four hundred and sixty-eight pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and thirty- seven, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts F, G, and H, respectively. There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further * 1 Edw. Appropriation Acts. sum of One hundred and fifty-two thousand two hundred and twenty-eight pounds seventeen shillings and ten pence; From the Trust and Special Funds, a further sum of Five hundred and ninety-four thousand one hundred and fifty pounds five shillings and four pence; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of One hundred and. forty-seven thousand nine hundred and eighty pounds twelve shillings and one penny; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-seven, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-six, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, J, and K of the Schedule to this Act. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several Treasurer to sums, for the purposes hereinbefore mention~ d, to such : ~ i: ~ ~ : r persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the by warrant. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of. the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said sums of One hundred and fifty-two thousand two hundred and twenty-eight pounds seventeen shillings and ten pence, Five hundred and ninety-four thousand one hundred and fifty pounds five shillings and four pence, and One hundred and forty-seven thousand nine hundred and eighty pounds twelve shillings and one penny, which
