CONSTITUTION. 24 GEO. V. No. 15, 1933. Appropriation Acts. 14531 An Act to Apply certain Sums of Money out of the 24 Geo. V. [ASSENTED TO 23RD NOVEMBER, 1933.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- W E, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, Preamble. the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent ofthe Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the Appropria. No. 15, *" The Appropriation Act of 1933-1934, No. 1," and t" The Appropriation Act of 1933-1934, No. 2," that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Nine million three hundred and one thousand one hundred and twelve pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds. the sum of Five million five hundred and sixty-nine thousand two hundred and forty-two pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Three million two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. Appropria tion. 2. There shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-five, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of One million eight hundred thousand pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Nine hundred thousand pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Five hundred and fifty thousand pounds. Appropria- 3. Appropriation Act of 1933-1934, No. 2," and which [Schedule, are set forth in the Parts marked respectively G, H, :: ~ttf' H, and I of the Schedule to this Act, amounting, as appears by the said Parts, in all to the sum of Eighteen million one hundred and twenty thousand three hundred and fifty-four pounds, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts G, H, and I·respectively. .. 24 Geo. J m r a e or c rnate e nY c tl. s• Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The Treasurershall in his accounts from time to time Treasurer to be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by be ~!~ o;, ed him in pursuance of any such warrants or orders, .and the ~ ~~ ~ p~ fd in receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the pursuance vf moneys are paid shall be a valid discharge to the Treasurer warrant. in passing his accounts for any sum therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 7. The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said sums of Two hundred and sixty-six thousand and sixty-two pounds thirteen shillings and eight pence, One hundred and forty-three thousand four hundred and fifty-three pounds eleven shillings and three pence, and Thirty-nine thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight
