"l/\ T HEREAS we, Your Maj esty's most dutjful and loyal l'l' subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, in addition to 'the sums already granted during the last and present Sessions of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- Appropria. 1. In addition to the sums of Four million pounds tion. already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), One million nine hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Nine hundred thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of. the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, by *"The Appropriation Act of 1929-1930, No. 2," and t" The Appropriation Act of 1930- 1931, No. 1," there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty * 20 Geo. CONSTITU'l'ION. ------------- ----------------- ---------- 1930. Appropriation Acts. 12825 for the serv ices of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of One million pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of One hundred thousand pounds. 2. The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the Treasurer to said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, £ :~ i:~ ~ :Xs to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions by warrant. as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State. 3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time . be a . llowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid ebree da I ~ lto o fW r 6d by hIm III pursuance of such warrant or order in writing sums paid in as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective ~' ::r~:~ ~~e of persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 4.
