V the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, an~ by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the Appropria- Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, E, and F of the tSoc7;edule, Schedule to this Act, and which sums are payable under PartsA,B,C. the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec- D, E, and F.] tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty- nine, the sums following, inclusive of the two several sums of Three million five hundred thousand pounds, and Three million nine hundred thousand pounds, already authorised to be applied towards the service .of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, by *"The Appropriation Act of 1927-1928, No. 3," and t"The Appropriation Act of 1928-1929, No. I," that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the * 18 Geo. No. 14, credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Eleven million one hundred and eighty-nine. thousand six hundred and twenty-six pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds. the sum of Five million three hundred and sixty-eight thousand two hundred and thirty-eight pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Four million two hundred and forty-three thousand six hundred and sixty-eight pounds. Appropria- tion. 2. There shall and may be issued and applied, towards making. good the supplies granted to Hi!? Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirty, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Nine hundred thousand pounds ; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Six hundred thousand pounds. ~ppropria- 3. Appropriation Acts. credit of the Loan Fund Account), a further sum of Four hundred and sixteen thousand seven hundred and thirty pounds fifteen shillings and seven pence; From the Trust and Speeial Funds, a further sum of One hundred and twenty-nine thousand six hundred and seventy-two pounds fifteen shillings and ten pence; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked [Schedule, K and L of the Schedule to this Act. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and be payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said SUInS of Four hundred and sixteen thousand seven hundred and thirty pounds fifteen shillings and seven pence, and One hundred and twenty-nine thousand six hundred and seventy-two pounds fifteen shillings and ten pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked K and L of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby [Schedule. authorised and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby Parts K indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect and L.] of any such issue or application. 8.
