"WE, MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto YOUI' Majesty the sums here'nafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted, and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- Appropria. 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ~ ~ ~ ~ 'edule, Parts marked respectively A, B, C, D, E, and F of the PartsA,B,C, Schedule to this Act, and whfch sums are payable under D,E,andF·]the authority of the several Acts in those Parts respec- tively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to .His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty- eight, the sums following, inclusive of the three several sum3 of Three million six hundred thousand pounds, Four million one hundred and fifty thousand pounds, and Three million nine hundred thousand pounds, already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, by *"The Appropriation Act of 1926-1927, No. 3," t"The Appropriation Act of 1927-1928, No. 1," and t" The Appropriation Act of 1927-1928, No. 2," that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the * 17 Geo. Appropriation Acts. credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Eleven million one hundred and fifty-two thousand four hundred and sixty-one pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Five million forty-one thousand six hundred and fifty-five pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Four million eight hundred and ninety-one thousand one hundred and sixty-one pounds. 2. There shall and may be issued and applied, towards ~ ppr0pria making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the 1;lOn. :services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), the sum of Two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds, the sum of Nine hundred thousand pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan :Fund Account, the sum of Six hundred thousand pounds. 3. Indemnity. 7. The issue or application of any part or parts of the said sums of Two hundred and three thousand two hundred and sixty-five pounds nine shillings and ten pence, and Two hundred and eleven thousand seven hundred and seventy-six pounds sixteen shillings and five pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked (Schedule, K and .L of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby P an a d rt L s . K ] authorised and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. Short title. 8. This Act may be cited as "The Appropriation Act oJ 1927-1928, No. 3."
