CONSTITUTION. 11975 16 GEO. V. No. 12, 1925. Appropriation Acts. An Act to Apply Certain Sums of Money out of the 16 N G o. eo 1 . 2 V . . [AsSENTED TO 19TH OCTOBER, 1925.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- W E, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyai subjects, Preamble. the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do there- fore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the" authority of the same, as follows:- 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the Parts ~ ppropri& marked respectively A, D, C, D, E, and F of the Schedule to [S:hedule. this Act, and which sums are payable under the authority Parts A, H, C, of the several Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned, D, E, and F.) there shall and may be issued ::lnd applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, the sums following, inclu- sive of the two several sums of Two million five hundred thousand pounds, and Four million seven hundred thousand pounds, already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-six, by *" The Appropriation A.ct o} 1924-1925, No. 2," and t" The A.ppropriation A.ct of 1925-1926, No. 1," that is to say :- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Ten million six hundred and eighty thousand seven hundred and thirty-four pounds; * 15 Gao. There shall and may be issued and applied the further sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a further sum of Eight hundred and sixty-four thousand two hundred and forty-six pounds fourteen shillings and sixpence; * 15 Geo V. From the Trust and Special Funds a further sum of Three hundred and thirteen thousand eight hundred and ninety-three pounds and two pence; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account a further sum of Three hundred and sixteen thousand and ninety-eight pounds nineteen shillings and seven pence; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked K, L, and M [Schedule, of the Schedule to this Act. i~ r:: lM: . ] 5. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several Treasurer to sums, for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such ~:~i':e~~:(r persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the by warrant. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and. directed to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 6. The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said sums of Eight hundred and sixty-four thousand two hundred and forty-six pounds fourteen shillings and six pence, Three hundred and thirteen thousand eight hundred and ninety-three pounds and two pence, and Three hundred and sixte'en thousand and ninety- ei~ ht pounds nineteen shillings and seven pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked K, L, and M [Schedule, of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorised, and ~:rM:~ j L, sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified (against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 8.
