[ASSENTED TO 19TH AUGUST, 1924.] r \ ' ~ " HEsultbEjeActSs,wthe, e Ymoeumr bMerasjeosftyth' semLoesgtidsluattiifvuel Aanssdemlobylayl Prt'amble. of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your Majesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twentv-five, in addition to the sums already granted during ~ the last Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your :Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the ~ ame, as follows:- 1. In addition to tlte Sllms of One million two hundred~ ppropria thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated tlon. Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Pund Account), Seven hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and Special :Punds, and Six hundred thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account to~wards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, by *" The App1'opriation Act of 192~ )-1924, No. 2," there shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His 14 Geo. V. No. 24, supra, page 10480.

Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-five, the sums following, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account) the sum of Two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of One million five hundred thousand pounds; and l!""'rom the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of One million two hundred thousand pounds. The 1'reasurer of the State shall issue and pay the pay moneys said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, awsndrirraenctt.e"d b, to such persons, upon such days, and I.n such proportI.Ons as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue .Fund of the State. The 'rreasurer shall in his accounts from time to b cr e eadliltofwoerd time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid sums paid in by him in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing pwuarrsruaannt.ce of as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. Short title. 4. This Act may be cited as "The App"opriation Aot . of 1924-1925, No. 1."
