MosT GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- -,-XTE, Your :M:ajeRty's most dutiful and loyal subject::;, (l the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, t~ wards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to Your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto Your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do there- fore beseech Your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;- ~ ppropria 1. There shall and may be issued and applied, towards ~ ppropria. making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the hon. services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, the sums following, that is to say:- From the Consolidated Hevenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of One million two hundred thousand pounds; From the rrrust and Special Funds the sum of Seven hundred thow-and pounds; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of Six hundred thousand pounds. 3. [Schedule, Parts I, K, and L.] Short title. 7. rrhe issue or' application of any part or parts of the said sums of One hundred and thirty-five thousand one hundred and sixty-eight pounds ten shillings and eight pence, One hundred and sixteen thousand one hundred pounds nine shillings and nine pence, and Two hundred ::md fifty-three thousand four hundred and seventeen pounds and five pence, which has been made before the passing' of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked I, K, and L of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorised and sanctioned, and the Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 8. This Act may be cited as " The Appropriation A.ct of 1922-1923, No. 2."
