THE ApPRO· Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland of PP.JATION ACT OF further Sums of lVIoney towards the Service 1922·1923, No. 1. of the Year ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1923. [ASSENTED TO 16TH AUGUST, 1922.] Preamble. W HEREAS we, Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to Your 1\fajesty the several sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, in addition to the sums already granted during the last Session of Parliament towards the same services: And , ,, , ~hereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated R,evenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- Appropria. tion. 1. In addition to the sums of One million two hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the rnoneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), }"ive hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and

Appropriation Act". 9955 Special Funds, and Four hundred. thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan :b'und Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, by *"TheAppropriation Act oj 1921-1922, No. 3," there shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, the sums following, that is to say :- From the Oonsolidated RevenueFllnd of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account) the sum of Two million pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of One million two hundred and fifty thousand pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the Sum of One million two hundred and fifty thousand pounds. 2. The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the Treasurer to said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, ~ : ~ i~ ~ ~ : r to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions by warrant. as the Governor, by any ,,,arrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the s:tid.
