MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- W E, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to your Majesty in .the present Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto your

Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland- in Par- liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. Parts marked respectively A, B, C, and D of the Schedule to [S:hedule . this Act,and which sums are payable under the authority Parts A,:8, 0, <>f the sevPl'al Acts in those Parts respectively mentioned, and D.] there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service <>f the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen, the sums following, inclusive of the three several sums of One million five hundred thousand pounds, One million six hundred and fifty thousand pounds, and Nine hundred thousand pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen, by "The .Appropriation Act of 1917-1918, No. 1," "The .Appropriation Act of 1917-1918, No. 2," and" The .Appropriation Act of 1917-1918, No. 3,"* that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Six million one hundred and ninety-five thousand four hundred and forty-six pounds; :Prom the Trust and Special Funds the sum of Two million and fifty-one thousand eight hundred and forty-nine pounds one shilling; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of Two million one hundred and fifteen thousand one hundred pounds. 2. Appropriation Acts. hundred and seventeen, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and sixteen, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, K, and L of the Schedule to this Act. 5. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several Treasurer to sums, for the pm'poses hereinbefore mentioned, to such ~ : ~ i% ~ ~ : as persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the by warrant.
