[ASSENTED .TO 14TH NOVEMBER, 1917.] 'W' HEREAS we, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal Preambfe~ subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen, in addition to the sums already granted during the present Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliame'nt assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. In addition to the sums of One million seven hundred Appropria- and fifty thousand pounds already applied from the Consoli- tion. dated Itevenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), Eight hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Six hundred thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day 0f June, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen, by "The Appropriation Act of 1917-1918, No. 1,"'* and "The Appropriation Act of 1917-1918, No. 2,"* there shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eighteen" the further sums following, that is to say :- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account) the sum of Five hundred thousand pounds; , * 8 Geo. Treasurer to 2. The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the : :~ : ~~ : a8by said several sums, for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, warrant. to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State.
