[ASSENTE]) '[0 14TH NOVEMBER, 1913.] MOST GRACIOUS SOYEREIGN,- W E, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, Preamble. the Legislative Assembly -of Queensland in Parlia- ment assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to your Majesty in the present Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :- 1. No. 22, that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of FOUl: million six hundred and nine thousand eight hundred and one pounds; ]'rom the Trust and Special Funds the sum of One million one hundred and ten thousand five hundred and twenty-seven pounds three shillings and five pence; :From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of Two million five hundred and twelve thousand five 'hundred 'and fifteen pounds. Appropria· 2. The sums granted by the first section of this Act tTiootneodffosurms and by" The Appropriation Act of 1913-1914, No. 1," Supply " The Appropriation Act of 1913-1914, No. 2," and" The [ sSercvhiecdesu. le, Appro' r Ylriation Act of 1913-1914, No. 3,"· and which are Parts F, G, set forth in the Parts marked respectively F, G, and H of and H.] the Schedule to this Act, amounting, as appears by the said Parts, in all to the sum of Eight million two hundred and thirty-two thousand eight hundred and forty-three' pounds three shillings and five pence, are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and thirteen, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Parts F, G, and H, respectively. From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account a further sum of' Fourteen thousand six hundred and seventy-six pounds seven shillings and one penny; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the 'Said year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and thirteen, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and twelve, for the purposes and services expressed in the Parts marked I, K, and L of the Schedule to this Act. 4. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid be ald.ltofwed by hI· m I.n pursuance 0 f any suc1 1 warran t s or 01' del' s, and sourems 1 pa o i r d in the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom pursuance of the moneys are paid shall be a valid discharge to the warra.nt. Treasurer in passing his accounts for any sum therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 6 The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said sums of Two hundred' and fifty-five thousand and [Schedule, sixty-six pounds twelve shillings and one penny, Two !, : ~t~ ~j R, hundred and eighteen thousand three hundred and fifty- three pounds six shillings and five pence, and l!'ourteen thousand six hundred and seventy-six pounds seven shillings and one penny, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the Parts marked I, K, and L of the Schedule to this Act, is hereby authorised apd sanctioned, and the 'freasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 7.
