[ASSENTED TO 4TH SEPTEMBER, 1913.] ·WHEREAS we, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully granted to your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fourteen, in addition to the sums already granted during the present Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland the sums granted to your Majesty as aforesaid: Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - Appropril1' Ition. 1. In addition to the sums of Six hundred thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), Fifty thousand pounds already applied from the Trust and Special Funds, and Three hundred thousand pounds already applied from the mon~ ys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, by " The Appropriation Act of 1913-1914, No. 1,"* there shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the ~ hirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and fourteen, the further sums following, that is to say:- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account) the sum of Eight hundred thousand pounds; !J, Qeo. Appropriation Acts. 5836 From the Trust and Special JTunds the sum of One hundred and fifty thousand pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund· Account the sum of Four hundred thousand pounds. . 2. The Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the 1~ rea8urer to said several sum,s for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, ~: ~ :e~ ~: ~ 8 to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions by warrant. as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said rrreasmer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Oonsolidated Revenue Fund of the State. 3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid ~:e~~~o;,~d by him in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing sums paid in as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective ~ :~ r~~ ~ ~e of persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 4. This Act may be cited as "The .A ppl'opriation Act Short title. of 1913-1914, No. 2."
