Preamble. [ASSENTED TO 31sT AUGUST, 1910.] W HEREAS we, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal suhjects, the members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, have in the present Session of Parliament cheerfully grantl:d ~ v your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eleven, in addition to the sums already granted during the present Session of Parliament towards the same services: And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of, Queensland the sums granted to your Majesty as aforesaid :Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- Appropria- tion. 1. In addition to the sums of Three hundred and fifty thousand pounds already applied from the Consolidated Revenue :Fund (exclusive of' the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account), Thirty thousand pounds alrearly applied from the rrrust and Special Funds, and Two hundred thousand pounds already applied from the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account towards the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, by "The Appropriation Act of 1910-1911, No. 1,"* there shall and may be issued and applied towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the services of the year ending on the thirtieth day of June, One thousand nine hundred and eleven, the further sums following, that is to say:- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land (exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account) the sum of Five hundred thousand pounds; '*' 1 Geo. CONSTITUTION. 9631i 1 GEO. V. No. 4,1910. Appropriatio'(l Acts. :From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of Forty thousand pounds; and From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of Three hundred thousand pounds. , 2. 'fhe Treasurer of the State shall issue and pay the Tre&8Urer to' said several sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, ~ ~ i% O~ : ~ 8 to such persons, upon such days, and in such proportions by warr&nt. as the Governor, by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said 'l'reasurer, shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Oonsolidated Revenue Fund of the State. 3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treltsurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid ~ : e~ o; : ; ~ d by him in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing sums paid in as aforesaid , and th . c re , ceipt or receipts - of the respective p w u a r r s r u a a n n t c . e of persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as· shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 4.
