CONSTITUTION. 8833 5 Enw. VII. No. 22, 1905. Appropriatio7b Acts. 3. The Treasurer shall in his accounts from time to Treasurer to time be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid ~ : e~ ~ ° fu: d by him in pursuance of such warrant or order in writing sums paid in as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective ~: ~ ~~ ~ .ce of persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said Treasurer in passing his accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly. 4. [A.sSENTED TO 18TH DECEMBER, 1905.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- W E, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects,Preamble. the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to your Majesty in the present Session of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech your Majesty that it may be enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queens- land in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ~ ppropria­ Schedules to this Bill marked respectively A, E, C, and D, [S~edules A and which sums are payable under the authority of the B,cC,and D.j several Acts in those Schedules respectively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand. nine hundred and six, the sums following, inclusive of the

No. 22, two several sums of Four hundred and eighty thousand pounds and Four hundred and thirty thousand pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and six, by "The Appropriation Act of 1905 - 1906, No. 1," and "The Appropriation Act of 1905-1906, No. 2,"* that is to say,- From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum of Two million and thirty-seven thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight pounds; From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of Two hundred and twenty-five thousand seven hundred and forty-nine pounds and two pence; J?rom the moneys standing' to the cledit of the Loan Fund Account the sum of' Four hundred and eighty-two thousand and fifty-four pounds. Appropria- . 2. The sums granted by this Act and by "The vtiootnedoffosurms Appropriation Act of 1905-1906, No. 1," and "The' Supply Appropriation Act of 1905-1906, No. 2,"* and which are services. set forth in the Schedules to this Act marked respectively [Schedules F·, F, G, and H, amounting, as appears by the said Schedules, _H, and H.] in all to the sum of Two million seven hundred and forty- five thousand six hundred and ninety-one pounds and two pence are appropriated, and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and five, for the purposes and services expressed in the said Schedules F, G, and H, respectively. From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of 'rwenty-one thousand five hundred and ninety- seven pounds thirteen shillings and seven pence; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account a further sum of Thirteen thousand six hundred and thirty-seven pounds eleven sbillings and ten pence; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the said year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and five, and such sums shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the first day of July, One thousand nine hundred and four, for the purposes and services expressed in the Schedules to this Act marked i.SchedulesI, I, K, and L. The Treasurer shall issue and pay the said several Treasurer to 'Sums for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned, to such ~: ~ i: , :: r persons, upon such days, and in such proportions as the by warrant. Governor, by any warrant or order under his hand and ilirected to the Treasurer, from time to time orders and directs, and the payments so made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queensland. 5. The issue or application of any part or parts of Indemnity. the said sums of Thirty-seven thousand two hundred and fifty-two pounds and three pence, Twenty-one thousand :five hundred and ninety-seven pounds tbirteen shillings and seven pence, and 'l'hirteen thousand six hundred and thirty-seven pounds ele\ren shillings and ten pence, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the said Schedules marked I, [Schedules I, K, and L, is hereby authorised and sanctioned, and the K, and L.] Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 7 This Act may be cited as " The A.ppropriation Act Short title. of 1905-1906, No. 3."
