[ASSENTED TO 17TH DECEMBER, 1904.] MOST GRACIOUS SOVEREIGN,- W E, your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, Preamble. the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, towards making good the supply which we have cheerfully granted to your Majesty in the last and present Sessions of Parliament, have resolved to grant unto your Majesty the sums hereinafter mentioned, and do therefore beseech your Majesty that it may be -enacted; and be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent -of the Legislative Oouncil and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority -of the same, as follows : - 1. In addition to the several sums specified in the ~ ppropria Schedules to this Bill marked respectively A, B, 0, and D, [Sciliedules A and which sums are payable under the authority of the B, C, and D.j several Acts in those Schedules respectively mentioned, there shall and may be issued and applied, towards making good the supplies granted to Hjs Majesty for the service -of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and five, the sums following, inclusive of the two several sums of Four hundred and eighty thousand pounds and Four hundred and seventy-five thousand pounds already authorised to be applied towards the service -of the year ending on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and five, by "The Appropriation Act of 1904-1905, No. 1," and" The Appropriation Act of 1904- 1905, No. 2,"* that is to say,- From the Oonsolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, the sum f)f Two million and eighteen thousand and eighteen pounds; * 4 Edw. VII. Nos. 1 and 2, two last preceding Acts.

From the Consolidated Revenue Fund of Queens- land, exclusive of the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account, a farther sum of Sixty thousand one hundred and forty-eight pounds fifteen shillings and eight pence; From the Trust and Special Funds the sum of 'rhirty-six thousand five hundred and seventy- five pounds three shillings and five pence; From the moneys standing to the credit of the Loan Fund Account a further sum of Sixty-two thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven pounds sixteen shillings; to defray Supplementary Charges for the service of the .said year ended on the last day of June, One thousand nine hundred and four, and such sums shall be deemed to it 4 Edw. The issue or application of any part or parts OfIndemnity. the said sums of Sixty thousand one hundred and forty- ~ ight pounds fifteen shillings and eight pence, 'l'hirty- six thousand five hundred and seventy-five pounds three shillings and five pence, and Sixty-two thousand ~ ight hundred and ninety-seven pounds sixteen shillings, which has been made before the passing of this Act for the purposes expressed in the said Schedules marked I, [Schedules I, K, and L, is hereby authorised and sanctioned, and the K, and L.] It Treasurer is hereby indemnified against all claims and liabilities in respect of any such issue or application. 7 This Act may be cited as " Phe Appropriation A.ct Short title. of 1904-1905, No. 3."
