" A d v a n c e t o T r e a s u r e r , 1902-1903,"for s u p p l e ­

in Parliament assembled, have granted to Your Majesty the several WH E R E A S we Your Majesty's most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales sums hereinafter mentioned for the service of the year from the first day
J u l y , 1902, t o 30th J u n e , 1903, i n c l u s i v e of b o t h
d a t e s ; a n d to c o v e r p a y m e n t s " U n a u t h o r i s e d
in S u s p e n s e " for u r g e n t c l a ims on a c c o u n t of
S e r v i c e s of t h e Yea r 1902-3 ; a n d for p u r p o s e s
c o n n e c t e d w i t h and i n c i d e n t a l t o t h e a b o v e
ob jec t s . [28th November, 1903.]

day of July, one thousand nine hundred and three, to the thirtieth day of June, of the year one thousand nine hundred and four (inclusive of both dates), and for supplementing the grants made by the present Parliament, in its Second Session, and in adjustment of the vote "Advance to Treasurer, 1902-1903," for charges during the period from the first day of July, of the year one thousand nine hundred and two, to the thirtieth day of June, of the year one thousand nine hundred and three (inclusive of both dates), and to cover payments " Unauthorised in Suspense " for urgent claims on account of Services of the Year 1902-3 : And whereas we desire to make good out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund of New South Wales the several sums granted to Your Majesty as aforesaid : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of the State of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, that out of the said Consolidated Revenue Fund there shall be appropriated, and are hereby appropriated, and shall be issued and applied for or towards the several uses and purposes hereafter expressed—

X I I I . The Treasurer of the said State shall issue and pay the

said several sums to such persons for the purposes hereinbefore mentioned in such manner and in such proportions as the Governor by any warrant or order in writing under his hand and directed to the said Treasurer shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments

dated Revenue Fund of the said Sta te ; but the said Treasurer shall not be held liable for any claims which may arise in connection with any of the State Departments transferred to the Commonwealth on or
after the date of such transfer.
