An Act to appropriate and apply out of t he Consolidated Revenue F u n d of N e w South Wales cer ta in Sums to make good t he Sup­ plies g ran ted for t he Service of t he year from t h e 1st day of Ju ly , 1900, to t he 30th day of J u n e , 1901, inclusive of bo th dates, and to adjust t he vote "Advance to Treasurer , 1899- 1900," for supplementary charges dur ing t he period from the 1st day of Ju ly , 1899, to t he 30th day of J u n e , 1900, inclusive of bo th dates, and to cover paymen t s charged to " E x p e n d i t u r e Suspense A c c o u n t " for Ser­ vices of t he year 1898-9; and for purposes connected w i th and incidental to the above

W H E R E A S we Your Majes ty ' s most dutiful and loyal subjects, the Members of the Legislat ive Assembly of New South Wales in Pa r l i amen t assembled, have g ran ted to Your Majesty the several sums
hereinaf ter mentioned for the service of the year from the first day of July,
objects. [1st December, 1900.]

X I V .     The T r e a s u r e r of the said Colony shall issue and pay the

said several sums to such persons for the purposes hereinbefore men­ tioned in such manner and in such propor t ions as the Governor by any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing under his hand and directed to the said T r e a s u r e r shall from time to time order and direct, and the payments so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of the Consolidated Revenue F u n d of the said Colony; but the said T r e a s u r e r shall not be held liable for any claims which may ar ise in connection with any of the

to the Commonwealth on or after

the

da te of such t ransfer .

X V . The said T r e a s u r e r shall in his Accounts from time to time

be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by him in pursu­ ance of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing as aforesaid, and the receipt or receipts of the respective persons to whom the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to the said T r e a s u r e r in pass ing his said Accounts for any such sum or sums as shall be therein mentioned, and he shall receive credit for the same accordingly.
