X I I .     The Treasurer of the said Colony shall issue and pay the

said several sums to such pe r sons for t h e purposes hereinbefore men­ t ioned in such m a n n e r a n d in such proport ions as t he Governor by a n y w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing unde r his hand and directed to t he said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime o r d e r and direct , and t h e p a y m e n t s so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of t h e Consoli­

da ted R e v e n u e F u n d of t he said Colony.

X I I I . The said Treasurer shall in his Accoun t s from t ime to

t ime be allowed credi t for a n y s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in

p u r s u a n c e of such w a r r a n t or o r d e r in wr i t ing as a f o r e s a i d , a n d the

receipt or receipts of t he respective persons to w h o m the s a m e shal l be	so paid shal l be a full and valid discharge to t h e said Treasurer in
pass ing his said Accoun t s for any such s u m or sums as shall be there in ment ioned, and h e shall receive credit for t h e same accordingly.

X I V . N o appropr ia t ion included in th is Ac t shal l lapse u n t i l

t h e thir ty-f irs t day of December , o n e thousand e ight h u n d r e d and

ninety-one.
