The Treasurer of t h e said Colony shal l issue and pay the said several sums to such persons for the purposes hereinbefore ment ioned in such m a n n e r a n d in such propor t ions as t h e Governor by any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing unde r his h a n d and directed to the said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order and direct and t he p a y m e n t s so to he m a d e shall he charged u p o n and payahle ou t of t h e
Consolidated R e v e n u e Rund of t h e said Colony.
X I V . The said Treasurer shal l in his Accoun t s from t ime to t ime he allowed
credi t for any s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t ing as aforesaid and the receipt or receipts of t h e respect ive persons to w h o m the same shall he so paid shall he a full a n d valid discharge to t h e said Treasure r in passing his said Accoun t s for any such s u m or sums as shall he the re in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
