WH E R E A S wo Y o u r Majesty 's most dut i ful and loyal subjects t he

Member s of t h e Legislat ive Assembly of NEW South W a l e s in P a r l i a m e n t assembled have gran ted to Y o u r Majesty t h e several sums hereinaf ter ment ioned for the service of the year one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four and for supp lemen t ing t he grants made by t h e p resen t P a r l i a m e n t in its First Session for t he service of t he year

one thousand e ight h u n d r e d and e igh ty- th ree and previous years A n d

whereas we desire to m a k e good out of t he Consolidated R e v e n u e Fund of N e w South Wales t he several sums granted to your Majes ty as aforesaid Re i t therefore enacted by t h e Queen ' s Most Exce l l en t Majes ty by and wi th the advice and consent of the Legislat ive Council and Legis la t ive Assembly of N e w South Wales in Par l iament assembled and by the au thor i ty of t he same Tha t out of t h e said Consolidated R e v e n u e Fund the re shall be fur ther appropr ia ted and are hereby appropr ia ted and shall be issued and applied for or towards t he several uses a n d purposes hereafter expressed--

X I V . The said Treasurer shal l in his Accoun t s from t ime to t ime he allowed
credi t for any s u m or sums of money paid by h i m in pu r suance of such w a r r a n t or

order in wr i t ing as aforesaid and the receipt or receipts of t h e respect ive persons to w h o m the same shall he so paid shall he a full a n d valid discharge to t h e said Treasure r in passing his said Accoun t s for any such s u m or sums as shall he the re in ment ioned and he shall receive credit for t he same accordingly.
