X . The Treasure r of t h e said Colony shal l issue and pay the said several sums to such persons for t he purposes hereinbefore ment ioned in such m a n n e r and in such propor t ions as t h e Governor by any w a r r a n t or order in wr i t i ng u n d e r his h a n d and directed to t h e said Treasurer shall from t ime to t ime order a n d direct and t h e p a y m e n t s so to be made shall be charged upon and payable out of t h e Consoli dated Revenue F u n d of t h e said Colony. X I . The said Treasurer shall in his Accoun t s from t ime to t ime be allowed credit for any sum or sums of money paid by h i m in pursuance of such w a r r a n t or order in wr i t i ng as aforesaid and t h e receipt or receipts of t h e respective persons to w h o m the same shall be so paid shall be a full and valid discharge to t h e said Treasurer in pass ing his said Accoun t s for any such sum or sums as shall be the re in men t ioned and he shall receive credit for t h e same accordingly.
